THE CHALLENGE 2024:
The Challenge in 2024 will see us introduce the "CLASH OF THE TITANS" for the first time on the WESTSIDE in the AAA Division or (KRAKEN) the AA Division or (GODZILLA) and the A Division or (KONG)
The LIVE draw for Round 1 will take place at the opening ceremony and seeding will be drawn from the previous Westside Challenge.
Athletes who fail to advance in Rounds 2 and 3 will compete in the “KRAKEN”
Athletes who fail to advance in Rounds 4 and 5 will compete in “GODZILLA”
We hope this will encourage all ages and skill levels to not only compete but re-kindle old rivalries or forge new ones along the way to their separate TITAN Finals.
TEAM EVENT:
The LEGENDS TEAM EVENT sees Teams of 4 individually Captained by a Kneeboard "Legend/Titan" go heat for heat in a points based challenge to crown the 2024 TEAM CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS.Always the highlight is the "Legend/Titan" heat which sees an all Captain Heat.This is your chance to team up with a real Kneeboarding "LEGEND" getting first hand tips and advice to help win this coveted challenge.
Teams will be drawn at the opening ceremony by their respective Captains.This Challenge is unfortunately LIMITED due to time constraints but is open to ALL.
Surfers will surf one 4/5 man heat and points will be calculated accordingly. Each team will select their POWER surfer who scores double.Further details of the Team event format, criteria and scoring system will be available at the opening ceremony / live draw.
2024 Captains are still to be confirmed and entry will be via MAIN ENTRY FORM.
JUDGES JEDI TWIN FIN CHALLENGE
We will also look to run a Judges Twin Fin Heat which will give our Judges a break each day and an empty line-up on JEDI SHAPED TWIN FINS.
Please let the Head Judge know if you would like to assist in Judging any of these heats.We would love to see you in the Judging booth.
The WESTSIDE CHALLENGE 2024 is proud to host our first International Competitors.

Westside Kneelos and KSSA is also proud to announce that all athletes participating in this years WESTSIDE CHALLENGE will now automatically qualify for the KNEEBOARD SURFING WORLD TITLES in Jeffreys Bay 2024.
1ST PLACE (KONG) will be seeded straight into the 64 MAN Main Event !!!
